Gujarat: Over 41% students clears Class 12 supplementary exams for Science stream

A total of 19,251 students had registered for the Class 12 supplementary examinations (Science stream), of which 16,789 appeared for the exam.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) declared the results of the Class 12 supplementary exams (Science stream) on Saturday. Over 41% students cleared the exams, conducted by the board last month.

A total of 19,251 students had registered for the Class 12 supplementary examinations (Science stream), of which 16,789 appeared for the exam. As many as 6,978 students passed and the pass percentage stood at 41.56%. The pass percentage stood at 46.32% for Group A [Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) as core subjects], 40.47% for Group B [Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as core subjects], and 37.50% for both Groups A and B combined.

A total of 7,547 students, who had passed the March exams, also appeared for the supplementary exams to improve their scores. While 5,735 such students improved their results, 1,812 saw no change in their scores.
