LPG cylinder price slashed: Commercial LPG cylinder prices have been reduced across major cities from November 1, bringing relief to restaurants, hotels, and small businesses. Domestic LPG prices remain unchanged.

Effective Saturday, November 1, the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders has been reduced across major metropolitan cities, offering some respite to small and medium-sized businesses. As per the latest update from state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs), the new retail price in Delhi is now Rs 1,590.50, which is a decrease of Rs 5 from the earlier rate of Rs 1,595.50.

This marginal reduction comes after a Rs 15.50 increase announced in September for the same 19 kg cylinder. Among the metros, Kolkata saw the biggest drop, with prices falling by Rs 6.50 per cylinder.

The price revision comes after a period of frequent fluctuations and is expected to provide relief to sectors like restaurants, hotels, and catering businesses that depend heavily on commercial LPG.
