Indian Bank opens new branch in Vijayawada

Indian Bank on Tuesday opened a new branch at Gannavaram town about 15 km from Vijayawada.

Indian Bank on Tuesday opened a new branch at Gannavaram town about 15 km from Vijayawada.

The new branch will be equiped with the latest technological services like core banking national,electronic transfer and foreign exchange services,Indian Bank’s Deputy General Manager,Vijayawada region,V Nageswara Rao said.

He said another branch will be opened in Guru Nanak colony by the end of this month and added that five more branches would be opened in the city in the financial year.

He further said that the bank would soon introduce Bio-magnetic ATMs in the city.

The bank’s business in the region,consisting of Krishna,Guntur,and Prakasam districts,touched a turnover of Rs 2,200 crore,Rao said.

He said that the bank financed 12 cold storage houses and also financed agricultural produces,to the extent of Rs 60 crore,which were stored in those storages.
