Manoj Kishorbhai Kotak is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Mumbai North East since 2019.
Kotak's political journey is notable for his extensive experience within the municipal governance of Mumbai, having served three terms as a corporator in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
During his tenure in the BMC, he played significant roles, including being the leader of the BJP in the corporation, Chairman of the Improvements Committee (2009–2010), and Chairman of the Education Committee (2013–2014).
In the 2019 Indian general elections, Kotak represented the BJP and secured a victory against the National Congress Party (NCP) candidate, Sanjay Dina Patil, by a significant margin of 2.26 lakh votes.
Additionally, he is also a member of several key committees, including the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce, and the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India.
Beyond his parliamentary duties, Kotak remains deeply involved in local governance and development. He continues to serve as a municipal corporator in the MCGM (Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai).
