Delhi: Umar Khalid's Event At Ramjas College Interrupted, AISA ABVP Clash

Delhi University's Ramjas College cancelled JNU students Umar Khalid and Shehla Rashid's invitation to a campus event after members of Delhi University Student's Union (DUSU)  and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) protested against the speakers on Tuesday. The seminar organised  by Literary Society of Ramjas was looking into exploring representations of dissent in literary productions. Khalid who was scheduled to speak on ‘The War in Adivasi Areas’ on Tuesday is doing his PhD in the subject. Rashid's was slated to attend the event on Wednesday.
