The two leaders met here for nearly an hour on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit and discussed entire gamut of issues between the two countries.

BJP today termed the outcome of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with Nawaz Sharif as a "glimmer of light" in bilateral relationship, stressing that Pakistan has for the first time accepted India's "definition" of terrorism.

After the meeting between Modi and Sharif, BJP spokesperson M J Akbar said it has provided an opportunity to take forward the relationship between the two countries.
