Kailash Satyarthi: The child right activist was conferred the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize along with Pakistan's Malala Yousafzai. Nobel Laureate Satyarthi is the founder of 'Bachbapn Bachao Andolan' that works towards rescuing children from bonded labour. So far he has saved more than 80, 000 children from child slavery in around 100 countries. His organisation 'Bachbapn Bachao Andolan' was founded in 1980 and since then it has been instrumental in providing rehabilitation to rescued children.
Rohit Sharma: The right-handed batsman created history by scoring 263 runs against Sri Lanka in an ODI match. It was the highest individual score in ODI history. Rohit also became the only cricketer with two double tons in ODIs.

M C Mary Kom: She became the first Indian woman boxer to clinch a gold medal at the Asian Games in the flyweight (51KG) summit clash. The Manipuri mother-of-three, who has been christened ‘Magnificent Mary’ by the International Boxing Association for her unprecedented feats, defeated Kazakhstan’s Zhaina Shekerbekova by 2-0.
Indian Hockey Team: A spirited India outclassed arch-rivals Pakistan 4-2 in a nerve-wrecking shoot-out to regain the Asian Games men’s hockey gold medal after a gap of 16 years and also sealed a direct entry into the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Satya Nadella: Hyderabad-born Nadella created quite a stir recently by becoming one of the most powerful leaders in technology after taking over as head of the Microsoft Corp. He studied electronics and communication engineering before heading to the US in the 1980s.
