The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IIT Roorkee) celebrated the Independence Day at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium of the Institute. The flag hoisting was done by the Director after inspecting the Guard of Honour who then welcomed and escorted distinguished guests.
