Phicomm Energy 653 is decent buy for those who cannot spend beyond Rs 5,000.

Chinese smartphone maker Phicomm is looking forward to introduce another budget smartphone running Android Lollipop. The device would be available only on Amazon.in starting August 11.

The new Phicomm smartphone will run on a 1.1 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 CPU with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM with support for up to 64GB microSD cards. It would have an 8MP rear camera with Flash and a 2MP front camera. Sporting a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display, the Phicomm smartphone will have support for 4G network.

Powered by a 2,300 mAh battery, it will be a dual SIM smartphone and will feature Phicomm’s Expect 5.0 UI. Looking at the competition, it seems like Phicomm will price this smartphone around Rs 5,000. The company will officially launch this smartphone on August 11.
