ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025 Standings: Seven-time World Cup winners Australia continue their title defence in style, having remained unbeaten in the 2025 ODI Women’s World Cup happening in India and Sri Lanka. Their bid for a record eighth title looks strong after the Australian women’s team completed a record chase against hosts India to remain on top of the points table.

Mighty Australia, led by Alyssa Healy, beat New Zealand and Pakistan before chasing down 331 runs against India in Vizag on Sunday night. On a surface favouring the batters and with dew making life miserable for the bowlers in the second innings, Australia beat India by three wickets, courtesy of a superb century from skipper Healy. The 35-year-old batted with authority and spared none of the Indian bowlers as she went on to score 142 off just 107 deliveries.

Australia have seven points from three wins in four games, after their clash against Sri Lanka was abandoned due to a washout. The only other unbeaten team in the event is England, who also look like a strong contender for the title. England opened their account with a 10-wicket thrashing of South Africa. Led by Nat Sciver-Brunt, the side then defeated Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to accumulate six points from three games.

Meanwhile, India, who got off to a pleasant start in the event, having beaten Sri Lanka and Pakistan comfortably in their opening two games, faltered in the last two matches with close losses to South Africa and Australia. They continue to stay in third place with 4 points from as many matches, but the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will quickly need to bounce back from these setbacks.

South Africa have won two out of three games and are placed fourth, whereas New Zealand have only managed a solitary win in their first three league stage matches thus far. Bangladesh are sixth with the same number of points as New Zealand, while Sri Lanka and Pakistan occupy the last two spots. Pakistan are also the only team that has yet to open their account in this World Cup.
