In Amethi, Rahul Gandhi promises ‘kurta pajama’ sarkar

Interacting with villagers in his parliamentary constituency, Rahul Gandhi asked them whether anyone of them is wearing 'suit-boot'.

Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday followed up on his “suit-boot ki sarkar” jibe against Prime Minister Narendra Modi by promising a “kurta-pajama sarkar” that will work for the common man.

“We want your sarkar. Shirt ki sarkar, chappal ki sarkar, kurta pajama ki sarkar. And we will show it to you”, he said attacking the Modi government as elitist.

Interacting with villagers in his parliamentary constituency, he asked them whether anyone of them is wearing ‘suit-boot’.

Then he replied himself saying those wearing ‘suit-boot’ are only seen in Delhi.

He also told them that Congress would bring intense pressure on government if it failed to deliver on its promises.
