Cousin of a senior officer in the Bihar government was shot dead at Agamkuan here on Monday morning.
The incident took place at around 6.30 am when Saket Gupta (41),who runs a restaurant-cum-bar at Gaighat in Patna,was attacked by unidentified assailants in front of Kumhrar Park gate. Gupta died on way to hospital. He is the cousin of Bihar Police Building Construction Corporation chairman-cum-managing director Ashok Kumar Gupta,a DGP-level officer.
Patna Senior SP Amrit Raj said: We have arrested two persons and suspect it to be a case of extortion or business rivalry.
