Debating the President’s address,Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Janeshwar Mishra’s analogy to describe the second coming of the UPA Government had the House in splits. Mishra recounted a childhood anecdote when a new bride clad in red came to her husband’s village and was greeted with cheer and gaana-bajana (song and dance) by children. However, when someone asked her to unveil her pallu,it turned out that she was just another lady of the village. Mishra then went on to say that the new government was the same old one, only clad in a new sari.
