Workers at the MoserBaer Noida plant have announced a strike demanding a revision in wages and bonuses. The company said the protestors are around 150 workers of the packaging section at one of the companys optical disc plants.
Bhaskar Sharma,CEO (Blank Optical Media and Consumer Electronics) MoserBaer,said,A very small group of the packaging section has come up with some unreasonable demands. However,work has not stalled and we are in discussions with the protestors since there is no union representing the agitating workers. None of the protesting workers could be reached for comment.
