Suspended IAS officer Pradeep Sharma,arrested in cases of land allotment corruption and financial irregularities,has alleged that Chief Minister Narendra Modi is trying to keep him behind bars since he knew about the CMs personal life.
In a letter to Chief Secretary A K Joti on January 19 and later making oral as well as written submissions in the Bhuj court,Sharma has alleged that the Chief Minister would jeopardize the investigation process.
Sharma,in the letter, said the CM wanted him behind bars.
Sharma was arrested in January 2010 in connection with a land allotment scam when he was the Kutch district collector. Two more cases of corruption have been lodged against him.
