German Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz reported 78 per cent rise in sales for February 2010,at 439 units.
The company sold 246 units in the corresponding period last year,Mercedes-Benz said in a statement.
Mercedes-Benz sold 842 units in the first two months of the current year,registering over two-fold increase compared to 328 units in the comparable period last year,the company said.
“So far,we have registered a good start to the year 2010 and February sales have been encouraging,” Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Wilfried Aulbur said.
