Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) today reported 36 per cent increase in total sales for September at 2,42,941 units.
The company’s total sales stood at 1,78,462 units in the corresponding month of last year.
Motorcycle sales jumped by 60 per cent to 1,13,379 units in September this year as against 71,018 units in the same month last year,HMSI said in a statement.
The company reported an increase of 21 per cent in its scooter sales to 1,29,562 units from 1,07,444 units in September 2011,it added.
