Country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp today reported a dip of 11.88 per cent in sales at 4,43,801 units in August.
The company had sold 5,03,654 units in August,2011,Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.
Commenting on its numbers,Hero MotoCorp Senior Vice- President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said: “The dispatch numbers of August reflect the market sentiment.
The two-wheeler industry in the country has been facing a challenging time due to the overall macro-economic situation which has adversely affected retail sales,both in the urban and the rural markets”.
