Cox & Kings profit up 19% at Rs 29 cr

The total income for the period stood at Rs 136.72 crores.

Travel company Cox & Kings (CKL) today posted a 19.39 per cent increase in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30 at Rs 29.43 crore as compared to Rs 24.65 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year.

The total income for the period stood at Rs 136.72 crores,registering a growth of 27.42 per cent,as compared to Rs 107.30 crore for year-ago period.

“We have registered growth,both in domestic and foreign operations in line with our expectations. The acquisition of Holidaybreak Plc will further give robustness to our existing P&L,” the company’s Director Peter Kerkar said in a statement issued here.

During the quarter,the company completed the acquisition of Holidaybreak Plc.
