Complaint against officer who called fellow passenger terrorist

A complaint has been registered against an intelligence officer for calling a person from Jammu and Kashmir terrorist onboard a Srinagar-bound flight

A complaint has been registered against an intelligence officer for calling a person from Jammu and Kashmir terrorist onboard a Srinagar-bound flight. Passengers on the flight have also accused the official of threatening a fellow passenger. The incident took place onboard a GoAir flight that was coming from Delhi to Srinagar.

We have registered a complaint and will forward it to his superiors who will decide whether or not action should be taken against the officer, said SP,Airport,Abdul Rashid Bhat.

Police sources say that a ruckus happened on G8-183 flight when a tall Kashmiri passenger,Ghulam Nabir Mir,was frequently adjusting his seat,D5. This irritated the official sitting next to him.

The official identified himself as an intelligence officer, called Mir a terrorist, and warned him of serious consequences once the flight landed at Srinagar.

The other Kashmiri passengers objected to the remark and upon landing,Mir and others complained against the official.
