BILT Q3 net profit dips 43% to Rs 34 cr

Ballarpur Industries said its consolidated profit after tax declined 43.39 per cent to Rs 34.3 cr.

Paper manufacturer Ballarpur Industries Ltd (BILT) today said its consolidated profit after tax declined 43.39 per cent to Rs 34.3 crore for the third quarter ended March 31,2012.

The company had posted a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 60.6 crore in the same period of previous fiscal,BILT said in a statement.

However,revenues of the company rose to Rs 1,225.2 crore during the quarter against Rs 1,164.4 crore in the same period of previous fiscal.

For the nine-month period ended March 31,2012,the company posted a PAT of Rs 110.8 crore compared to Rs 169.9 crore in the same period of previous fiscal.

The company’s revenues stood at Rs 1,225.2 crore for the nine-month period compared to Rs 1,164.4 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
