India’s infrastructure sector output grew 5.1 per cent in April from a year earlier,government data showed on Friday.
During the 2009/10 fiscal year (April-March),core sector output rose 5.5 per cent from 3.0 per cent a year ago.
The infrastructure sector accounts for 26.7 per cent of India’s industrial output.
