SATARA, April 6: Ajinkyatara sugar cooperative vice-president Sahebrao Potekar was killed when he was knocked down by a speeding tanker on Pune-Bangalore road, on Friday.
Potekar was proceeding towards his native Shendre village on a cycle when he was hit by the tanker. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he died. The driver was later arrested.
