Union Minister of State for Chemicals and Fertilisers Tapan Sikdar was paid back in the same coin today, three days after he had called West Bengal BJP president Tathagat Roy ‘‘a liar and an autocrat’’.
Sikdar was rebuffed by national party president M. Venkaiah Naidu during a press meet here.

BJP general secretary Arun Jaitley said Naidu ‘‘has taken note of Sikdar’s statements and has advised him to refrain from making such statements. The party would be forced to take a serious view if such statements are made in future’’.
