The Supreme Court has set aside a Rajasthan High Court order making the state university’s entrance exam for PG dental courses applicable to private dental colleges. The order came from a vacation Bench of Justice A.R. Lakshmanan and Justice Altmas Kabir on a petition by the Federation of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Rajasthan. They had challenged the HC order and a subsequent notification by the state government. The SC quashed the notification to the extent it was applicable for private institutions.
