PUNE, April 12: The 101 Infantry Battalion (TA), Pune lifted the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Basketball Championship defeating 18 Maratha Light Infantry 49-25 in the final held on last Friday at the AFMC ground.
The 101 IB spikers ended the half time with a narrow two points margin lead over 18 MLI. In the second session, it was mainly Sep C E Alvares (21) and Sep Pramod (13) who lead 101 IB’s attack for a comfortable 49-25 win for their team.
