CHENNAI, March 11: A worker engaged by the parking lot contractor at the Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Vandalur, has been arrested in connection with the attack on two visitors to the zoo, on March 7. According to zoo authorities, when a group of children taken by a civic organisation was alighting from the van, the person issuing tickets allegedly attacked the senior persons who accompanied the children, after picking up a quarrel. Following a complaint from the injuried persons, police arrested the worker, Ganesan.
