BANGALORE, FEB 10: Nandan M Nilekani is the new managing director/president and Chief Operating Officer of Infosys Technologies Limited.
The board of directors, at its meeting here today, decided to advance the promotion of Nilekani from deputy managing director) to the post of managing director/president and Chief Operating Officer effective from February 11, in view of the various global initiatives that the company proposed to take up in the coming months, a company press release said.
N R Narayana Murthy (chairman and managing director) will function as the chairman and CEO, effective from Feb 11, the release added.
