Flat owners

The notification, issued in July, had announced September 30 as the last date for payment under the Amnesty Scheme, which imposed a nominal fine of Rs 250 for the delayed payment. Even as confusion arose over the method of evaluating the market price of properties, the amnesty period lapsed. An interest rate of six per cent was imposed on those who tried to pay the duty after Sept 30.
