
CHANDIGARH Aug 15: Krishan Lal Sharma, the BJP-SAD joint candidate for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha constituency, met members of various association in Sector 34 here today and addressed them. He later addressed a rally at Colony no 5.
Yesterday, Sharma inaugurated the party’s district office in Sector 37-D where senior BJP leaders were also present. The Bharatiya Janata Party leader also addressed indistrialists at a function held late yesterday, who extended their support to him.
Industrialists placed certain demands, including raising of sales tax limit, transfer of CITCO sheds and construction of first floor on small sheds, before the BJP leader, who assured them of all support in redressal of their problems.
The vice-president of Bharatiya Janata Party leader also unfurled the national flag at village Dhanas, Mauli Jagran complex, Colony no 4 and Hallomajra, where he paid rich tributes to the Kargil heroes and complimented the Army for its role in Kargil.
