AMRITSAR, July 23: All arrangements for the conduct of state level B.Ed. entrance test-1998 scheduled to be held on July 26 have been made.
Disclosing this, Om Avasthi, coordinator, said more than 37,000 candidates are appearing in 126 centres at Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Ropar, Gurdaspur, Hoshiarpur, Faridkot, Bathinda, Abohar and Chandigarh.
Classes from July 27: The classes of B.Sc. (Honours School) M.Sc. (Honours School), M.Sc., Chemistry instrumental analysis and Industrial Chemistry (oil, soap and detergents) will start from July 27, according to T.S. Ibbana, head of Chemistry Department of the GNDU.
Ma Results today: Guru Nanak Dev University will declare the results of MA Political Science Part II, MA Sociology Part II, MA Hindi Part II, MA Psychology Part I, and II, B.Sc. Food technology semesters, I, IV, V and VI tomorrow (IE July 24). This was stated here today by R S Bawa registrar.
Workshop: A one-day workshop on “Quality of woolen shawls” will be organised by the Guru Nanak Dev University in collaboration with International Wool Secretariat, New Delhi on July 25 at the conference hall of the university. S.K. Choudhary, area director, India and Middle East of International Wool Secretariat will inaugurate this workshop while H.S.Soch Vice Chancellor will preside over. Neeraj Gupta, an textile expert from Delhi and S S Parmar coordinator of university industry linkage programmee will deliver lectures on this occasion.
