The Congress demanded narco test of BJP leaders from the state, including Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, alleging that they were involved in a ‘conspiracy’ to display currency notes in Parliament during the confidence vote.
Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) also demanded disclosure of details of luggage carried by Chouhan during his travel to Delhi one day before the trust vote on July 22.
“Narco test should be conducted on Chief Minister, state BJP chief Narendra Singh Tomar, PWD Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, besides MPs Ashok Argal and Faggansingh Kulaste to expose the truth behind the whole operation,” MPCC spokesman Manak Agrawal said.
Charging that Chouhan, Tomar and Vijayvargiya planned the conspiracy and the currency collected were flown in a state-owned plane to Delhi on July 21, he demanded that the details of the luggage carried by the Chief Minister should be made public.
Agrawal demanded that telephonic conversations of the Chief Minister on July 21 and 22 should be made public.
Besides, it should also be revealed as to whom he met during his two-day stay in Delhi.
