Eight employees of the Food Corporation of India (fci) have been arrested in Manipur for allegedly siphoning off rice bags earmarked for the mid-day meal scheme in schools to militant outfits, official sources said on Monday.
Sources said police recovered 1,400 rice bags from the Food Corporation of India storehouse at Sangaiporou which were allegedly meant for supply to different militant groups.
