SSC CGL Tier 1 2016: Marks released, check cut offs here

SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2016: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the marks of the candidates who appeared in the Common Graduate Level Exam (CGLE) Tier I exam 2016. The exam was conducted from August 27 to September 11 this year via the online mode. The results of the SSC CGL exam have been released on the official website of the SSC, the details of which are given below.

The SSC CGL exam is conducted every year by the Commission to recruit eligible candidates for various posts in myriad government offices and departments. This year, the exam was held to fill up about 4,800 vacancies.

The recruitment process of the SSC CGL exam has two levels: Tier I and Tier II. The SSC CGL Tier I paper was converted to the online mode this year. The SSC CGL Tier II exam, however, remains a pen and paper exam.

Steps to see the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2016:

Log on to the official website of the SSC, ssc.nic.in

Under the heading “Latest Announcements”, go to the “Declaration of Marks of Combined Graduate Level (Tier 1) Examination, 2016” link

A new page will open where the marks of the candidates will be displayed in a PDF form.

Check your marks and save a copy of the document to your computer for future reference.

The Commission had released the response sheet or the answer keys for the SSC CGLE Tier I exam on September 21, 2016. The answer keys were helpful in letting candidates estimate their result but the final marks are have not been released yet.

The SSC CGL Tier II exam is slated to be conducted in November this year. This exam will be open to only those candidates who have cleared the SSC CGL Tier I 2016 exam, which is another reason the SSC CGL Tier I 2016 exam result is awaited eagerly.
