When contacted, the father of the girl who had accused Asaram of raping her at his ashram in Jodhpur in August 2013, claimed that Singh is a key witness in the case. His statement in the case had been recorded about three months ago, he said. The girl’s father also claimed Singh had told him that he was receiving threats from unidentified people.
