Delhi Police on Monday effected a major reshuffle among senior and middle-level officers after promoting two senior officials to the rank of Joint Commissioners.
Satyendra Garg,presently Additional Commissioner (Crime),has been promoted to the rank of Joint Commissioner who will look after Operations Wing of the city police.
After Amulya Patnaik was moved to Crime Branch earlier this year,the post of Operations Jt Commissioner was vacant.
Another officer who was promoted is Ujjwleshwar Mishra who will look after Special Branch,the same department where he is presently the Addl Commissioner.
M A Sayed,a 1982-batch IPS officer,received on repatriation from NDMC,has been posted as the Joint Commissioner in charge of Police Headquarters (PHQ) while S Vasudev Rao,a 1986 batch IPS officer,received on transfer from Puducherry,will be the new Joint Commissioner of Riot Cell.
Kewal Singh,presently Additional CP of PHQ,has been posted as in charge of the Police Control Room in the same rank. Dheeraj Kumar,presently looking after the work of Additional DCP-II of North Delhi,has been assigned the job of Additional DCP (PCR).
Rajesh Kumar,presently Deputy Commissioner (DE Cell) is transferred as Additional DCP (PCR) while B K Mishra,Additional DCP (PCR) is posted as the new DCP (DE Cell).
S K Sinha,an Assistant Commissioner in Traffic wing,has been asked to look after the work of Additional DCP (General Administration) while P K Mishra,ACP (EOW) will look after the work of Additional DCP (EOW).
S K Tyagi,ACP (Crime),will look after the work of Additional DCP (Crime) while Ashok Malik,ACP (PSO in Rashtrapati Bhawan) will look after the work of Additional DCP (PSO) Rashtrapti Bhavan.
Pramod Singh Khushwah,ACP (EOW) will look after the work of Additional DCP-II of North.
