Lokayukta cops uncover illegal assets worth 14 crore from govt officials in Karnataka corruption raids

The Karnataka state Lokayukta police on Tuesday conducted corruption investigation related raids on 13 government servants including an IAS officer BM Vijaya Shankar to unearth illegal assets to the tune of over Rs 14 crores from them. The Lokayukta police raids which began on Tuesday morning were conducted at 36 premises in Bangalore, Bagalakoe, Bellary, Bidar, Chikkaballapur, Chickmagalur, Dharwad, Kalburgi, Koppal, Mandya, Mangalore, Shivamogga, Tumkur and Yadgir districts.
