The police custody of Prakash Pohre,the owner of Marathi multi-edition daily Deshonnati,was extended by a day on Thursday. Pohre was charged with instigating the murder of a security guard on the premises of his printing press. Meanwhile,a group of women — reportedly RPI activists — arrived at the court and demanded that Pohre be handed over to them. “We managed to keep them at bay,” SP (Nagpur Rural) Manoj Kumar Sharma said.
