Two software engineers from New Delhi were killed after they fell into a gorge at Foolchatti in Pauri district,police said Monday.
The bodies of Punit Ojha (25) and Vineet Kumar (23),who were employed with a software company in New Delhi,was recovered from the gorge by police during a search operation,they said.
The duo were part of a group which came to visit Rishikesh on Saturday.
The two Sunday went towards Foolchatti Hill but they did not come back. Later the police was informed and a search was conducted to trace them.
Police said the victims might have slipped on a slope and fell into the gorge at the Laxman Jhoola area.
