Sources in the agency said that the close aide of Amar Singh, who is a lawyer by profession, will be called to the CBI headquarters soon for questioning after the agency got evidence that the documents, circulated in media, had been handed out by him.

CBI,which has already registered a case for the alleged forging of CBI documents, will also record the statements of two journalists who had brought out the report in newspaper and television.

The case had been registered under sections of criminal conspiracy, forgery and presenting forged documents as genuine.
