Employee Provident Fund (EPF) is one of the most common types of long-term retirement savings in which the employee and the employer pay an equal amount to savings that may be accessed at retirement or when transferring employment.
In addition to the EPFO portal, the EPFO app, and SMS, people can now use the UMANG App to monitor and track their Employee Provident Fund (EPF) accounts, providing convenience and keeping them up to date on account activities.
In a few simple steps one can easily access and download their EPF passbook using the UMANG app; here’s all you need to know.
Step 1: One can download the UMANG app on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store
Step 2: The next step is to navigate through the homepage and find the ‘Services’ section.
Step 3: Once you land on the ‘Services’ page, look or search for the EPFO.
Step 4: Now click on ‘View Passbook,’ which will enable you to get access and download your member passbook.
Step 5: Enter UAN and then click and submit the OTP.
Step 6: Enter the member ID to view and download the passbook.
Your passbook will appear on the screen, along with your EPF/EPFO passbook balance.
