German/American model Heidi Klum has revealed that she did not become successful in showbiz immediately.
Klum,36,said that she was very hopeful of success after she won a modelling contest,but was disappointed when nothing emerged from it.
After (winning a German modelling contest),I thought,This is my ticket. Things will happen. But they didnt, the New York Post quoted her as saying.
I could never book a job. I was walking around New York for three or four years, she recalled.
After she was spotted at a Victorias Secret show,she was dubbed The Body,and success followed her from then on.
