Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are currently in Siberia for the shooting of their upcoming Amazon Prime Video Original series Citadel, which is set to be released next year. But it is not all work and no play for the crew despite shooting one of the big-budget projects of the streaming giant. The crew is also having fun between shoots, which is evident from the recent Instagram posts from Varun Dhawan.
Sharing a bunch of pictures from Siberia, the actor wrote, “In between work we play, next year we slay.” Among all the pictures the actor had posted, the one with his co-star Samantha has become his among fans. A user wrote, “Varsam is so cute together. Looking forward to seeing my favourite new pair for the first time together.”
In the picture, Samantha is seen wearing a black dress while Varun is dapped in a simple blue shirt. The two are seen sharing a dessert. The pictures also feature Kay Kay Menon in a retro look. Varun is also seen practicing archery in his free time, and he hits the bull’s eye in the clip. Here are the posts:
The upcoming series is the Indian adaptation of the Russo Brother’s Hollywood series Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. However, there will be a connection between the two series, according to reports though the two storylines are set in different eras.
Other than Citadel, Samantha also has Kushi, a romantic drama with Vijay Deverakonda in the making. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan has Bawaal in the post-production phase. He was last seen in the horror-comedy film, Bhediya.
