Deepika as ‘Peedika Padukone’, Salman misspelled as ‘Salman Kahn’. Check out where

Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone: Bollywood actors in the Forbes’ list of world’s top highest-paid actors misspelled.

Salman khan, deepika padukone, deepika padukone forbes list, forbes list, top actors forbes, deepika misspelled Salman Khan as ‘Salman Kahn’ and for Deepika the misspelled version is ‘Peedika Padukone’.

Four Bollywood stars made it to the Forbes’ list of world’s top 20 highest-paid actors and these include Shah Rukh Khan (on number 8), Akshay Kumar (on number 10), Salman Khan (on number 14) and Amitabh Bachchan (on number 18). Forbes top 10 highest-paid actresses list also has Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone in it. But amid the entire process of listing these biggies, few things went miserably wrong. Some of the biggest  names in the publication business misspelled their names. While some called Salman Khan as ‘Salman Kahn’, Deepika was written as ‘Peedika Padukone’. Oops!

Yes! There are times when such goof-ups take place and we truly understand this. Human blunder happens. While we are familiar with such mistakes, such things rarely go down well with fans. In today’s times when social-media is too active to accept such blunders, the followers of these stars don’t leave out on making jokes about the same. Even trolls follow. While we wonder how long will Salman’s fans take to notice the mistake The Telegraph made regarding his name, Deepika’s fans have already got into action after Harper’s Bazaar did the same. They are now actually guessing a reason behind the misspelling made by the popular fashion magazine. Twitteratti were quick to notice the typo.

Deepika’s fans took to social media to express their displeasure on what seemed like a typographical error. Considering the fact that Deepika is a popular name not just in India but across the international media too, courtesy her upcoming Hollywood debut in Vin Diesel starrer XXX: The Return of Xander Cage, it comes as quite a surprise that her name was misspelt by such a renowned magazine in her home country itself.

The one Bollywood star we expected to see on the list was Priyanka Chopra. She is the lead star of ABC’s Quantico and will be soon be making her Hollywood debut in Dwayne Johnson-starrer Baywatch. However, Priyanka failed to make it to the top 10. Media has been abuzz with a rivalry between Priyanka and Deepika given the fact that both the actresses will be seen entering Hollywood almost the same time soon.

According to some fans the reason behind the blunder is the popularity of Priyanka. One of the fans tweeted that the error might have occurred considering the foreign media keeps coming across Priyanka’s name which begins with the letter ‘P’.
