UPPSC PCS Prelims 2025 Exam Updates: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) conducted its PCS examination on December 22. After protest by the candidates over normalisation, the examination was conducted in a single day in two sessions — the morning session commenced at 9:30 am and concluded at 11:30 am, and the evening session was conducted between 2:30 and 4:30 pm.
Initially, the commission scheduled the exam for March 17, then postponed to October 26 and 27. Later, the UPPSC PCS was rescheduled for December 7 and 8 but was postponed due to days of continued protest in Prayagraj.

"The prelims of UPPSC is being done. Around 22,000 students are taking the examination. We are taking care of the students coming from outside. An elaborate arrangement has been made for hassle-free examination. The static, sector magistrates are at centres. Examinations are going on smoothly, it is being monitored through CCTV. Biometric attendance has been done, we are trying there should not be any mismanagement. There is no problem as of now," Lucknow DM Surya Pal Gangwar told PTI.
