UPPSC PCS Answer Key 2025 Released: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the provisional answer key for the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) Examination 2025 on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the preliminary exam, conducted on October 12, 2025, can now check and download the answer key by visiting uppsc.up.nic.in.
This UPPSC PCS recruitment drive aims to fill 200 vacancies across various administrative posts under the state government. The commission has advised candidates to carefully go through the answer key and submit objections, if any, within the prescribed time frame. Objections submitted after the last date will not be considered.
Candidates can follow the steps below to access and download their answer key:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the commission — uppsc.up.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Answer Key’ section.
Step 3: Select the link for UPPSC PCS Answer Key 2025.
Step 4: The answer key PDF will open on the screen — download and save it for reference.
The provisional answer key will allow candidates to calculate their expected scores and raise challenges, if they find discrepancies in any of the responses.
Once the objection window closes, the UPPSC will review all representations submitted by candidates. After due verification, a final answer key will be released. The UPPSC PCS Preliminary Results 2025 will be prepared based on this final answer key, and candidates who qualify will move on to the Mains examination stage.
The UPPSC PCS Examination is conducted in three stages — Preliminary, Mains, and Interview. Only candidates who clear the preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the Mains exam. The final merit list is prepared based on the marks secured in the Mains and Interview stages.
The Mains examination is descriptive in nature and carries a total of 1,500 marks across various papers, as shown below:
