Indian students aiming to start a course in the engineering field can now apply for a scholarship worth £3,000. The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is offering scholarships for international students who will be joining postgraduate taught and postgraduate research courses in academic year 2023-24.

University of Strathclyde offers scholarships to Indian students joining Faculty of Engineering

Interested students can apply at the official website of the varsity — strath.ac.uk.

Students applying for a postgraduate taught degree course will receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15 per cent reduction of their tuition fees, which will typically be £3,670. Those applying for a postgraduate research degree course will receive a scholarship award equivalent to a 15 per cent reduction of the tuition fees for each year of study.

Additionally, Postgraduate research degree applicants can apply year round for the scholarships.

The deadline for applicants applying to study a postgraduate taught course in September 2023 is August 18, 2023.

This scholarship is available for the following courses: Architecture, Biomedical engineering, Chemical engineering, Civil and environmental engineering, Design manufacture and engineering management, Electronic and electrical engineering, Mechanical and aerospace engineering, Naval architecture ocean and marine engineering, Aeronautical engineering, Civil engineering, Environmental engineering, Mechanical engineering, Naval architecture, Ocean engineering, Product design, Prosthetics and orthotics, Renewable energy, Engineering and Marine Engineering.

To be considered for the Faculty of Engineering International Scholarship, applicants should have a 2:1 (or equivalent) in their undergraduate degree.
