Physics

Physics leaned on the easier end of the spectrum but wasn't without its share of medium-difficulty problems. The paper heavily emphasized numerical and formula-centric questions, demanding sharp accuracy and quick conceptual recall. Key topics included Mechanics, Units & Measurements, Electrostatics, and Optics. Notably, Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) was absent, and chapters like Oscillations, Waves, Magnetism, and Thermodynamics appeared only sparingly. While some problems required a bit more time for computation, they weren’t overly tricky.

Chemistry

Chemistry stood out as the most student-friendly section. A significant portion of the paper was composed of direct, statement-based questions, making it quick and less stressful to navigate. Organic Chemistry dominated the section, followed by Inorganic Chemistry. Physical Chemistry was the least represented, with just a handful of questions touching on topics like Chemical Kinetics and Solutions. Much of the theoretical content was straight from the NCERT, and even numerical questions leaned more toward conceptual understanding than complex calculations.

Mathematics

Mathematics was undeniably the most taxing segment, both mentally and in terms of time. While the questions were well-distributed across the syllabus, areas such as 3D Geometry, Vectors, and Conic Sections received greater emphasis. On the flip side, topics like Matrices and Calculus had comparatively less representation. The majority of the problems were loaded with calculations, putting students' time management skills to the test. For many aspirants, this section felt like a marathon of endurance.

Mathematics > Physics > Chemistry

Given the trend from April 2 to April 4, Mathematics is expected to remain the most difficult section in April 8's paper. Students should watch for time-consuming problems and ensure balanced time allocation across all three sections.

Several questions in Mathematics across shifts were time-intensive, especially those involving matrices, conic sections, and calculus. Proper time allocation was crucial, with many students reporting they couldn’t attempt all questions despite knowing answers.

Success in yesterday’s paper depended heavily on conceptual understanding in Physics and Mathematics. While Physics rewarded accuracy, Mathematics required speed and precision due to its time-consuming nature.

Surprisingly, today’s Maths section had limited coverage from Calculus and Matrices. Instead, more questions were asked from Conic Sections and 3D Geometry, reflecting a change in trend from earlier sessions.

The Chemistry section provided a major scoring opportunity, as it was filled with straightforward questions, mostly theory-based and directly from the NCERT syllabus. Statement-based questions were predominant.

Lengthy calculations and complex multi-step problems in the Mathematics section consumed significant time, making it difficult for students to complete the paper comfortably. Time management proved to be a major hurdle.

The Mathematics section saw a strong presence of 3D Geometry, Vectors, and Conic Sections. In contrast, topics like Calculus and Matrices appeared less frequently, shifting the focus away from traditionally dominant areas.

Experts have ranked the overall difficulty of the April 7 Shift 1 paper as Mathematics being the toughest, followed by moderately difficult Physics, and Chemistry as the easiest and most scoring.

Across April 2 to 4, EMI, Rotation, and AC were largely absent in the Physics section. The focus stayed on Optics, Electrostatics, Modern Physics, and Units & Measurements, according to expert breakdowns of each shift.

The April 3 second shift had a Math section filled with complex problems from matrices, 3D, and vectors. Though formula-based, these questions took time, making it challenging to attempt the full section within the allotted time.

From April 2 to April 4, Chemistry questions were heavily borrowed from NCERT textbooks, especially in the theoretical part. Inorganic chemistry had maximum weightage, while organic saw minimal representation, especially in the April 3 morning paper.

April 4's evening session was deemed moderate by experts. Chemistry was once again dominated by inorganic topics, while Physics stayed largely numerical. Maths, though, challenged students with lengthy and calculation-heavy problems.

Chapters like Alternating Current (AC), Electromagnetic Induction (EMI), and Rotation Mechanics have seen little to no presence in Physics sections from April 2 to 4. Students should still prepare them in case of coverage in remaining shifts.

Like previous days, each subject included two sections - Section 1 had 20 multiple-choice questions, while Section 2 consisted of 5 numerical questions. All questions carried equal weightage, demanding both speed and accuracy.
