Maharashtra NEET UG 2024 Counselling: Provisional merit list out, choice filling begins

The registered candidates can fill their choices from August 27 to August 29 and the seat allotment result for round 1 will be issued on August 30.

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell on August 27 started the online preference filling of Maharashtra NEET UG counselling for MBBS and BDS programmes. Candidates shortlisted in the provisional merit list for MBBS and BDS programmes can fill the choices at medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2024.

The registered candidates can fill their choices from August 27 to August 29. According to the schedule, the seat allotment result for round 1 will be issued on August 30. 

NEET UG 2024: Steps to download the provisional merit list

Step 1: Go to the official website of State CET – medical2024.mahacet.org

Step 2: Candidates need to locate the link for “Provisional Merit List of Registered Candidates for MBBS, BDS Courses (Group A) of NEET UG 2024” and click on it.

Step 3: The PDF with the merit list will appear on your screen.

Step 4: Use the search function to find your name in the list.

Step 5: Candidates can view, download and save the pdf for future.

The provisional merit list PDF includes important candidate details such as NEET All India Rank (AIR), their name, gender, category, NEET roll number, CET cell online form number, NRI status and any special reservation. According to the list issued on the website, for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BPTH, BOTH, BASLP, and B (P and O) programmes, a total of 59,132 candidates applied. Out of which, only 55,781 candidates are eligible for admissions in MBBS and BDS programmes.
