The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has started the Chartered Accountant (CA) January 2025 Intermediate exams. The ICAI CA foundation exam will begin today (January 12). The ICAI CA admit cards are already out and candidates taking the exam can download the inter and foundation exam admit cards from icai.org.
The CA January 2025 Intermediate Course exams is being conducted on January 11, 13 and 15 for Group I and January 17, 19 and 21 for Group II. The CA Foundation exams will be held on January 12, 16, 18 and 20, 2025.
– Reach exam centre half an hour before the exam
– The important documents to carry at the exam centre are – admit card, valid ID proofs- voter card/ PAN card/ Aadhar card
– The candidates should not carry any electronic gadgets to the exam centre- mobile/ Bluetooth devices, other devices are banned at the exam centre
– Things to carry at the exam centres are – pen, pencil, eraser, water bottle, medicine (if necessary)
The CA Foundation course exam was set to be held on January 12, 14, 16 and 18, 2025, however, in view of Makar Sankranti, Bihu and Pongal festivals across India. The exams slated to be held on January 14 will now be held on January 16.
In the ICAI CA Inter January 2025 exams, all papers will be held from 2 to 5 pm on all days. The Foundation course Paper I and II will be held from 2 to 5 pm, and Paper 3 and 4 will be held from 2 to 4 pm on all days. In Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation Examination, there will not be any advance reading time, whereas, in all other papers/exams mentioned above, an advance reading time of 15 minutes will be given from 1:45 to 2 pm.
